Weather and Cancellation

Safety always comes first on every Moondance inshore trip. If weather conditions make it unsafe to leave the dock, your captain will do everything possible to reschedule your Montauk inshore fishing charter to the next available date that works for you and the crew.

If a new date is not possible, your deposit will be refunded or applied to a future trip later in the season. A 10 day notice is required for any non weather cancellations so the crew has a fair chance to rebook the date and keep trips running smoothly for all anglers.

Target species: seasonal striped bass, fluke, black sea bass, bluefish, porgy and tautog. Inshore trips generally run from May through December and are ideal for families, kids and groups who want a fun Montauk inshore fishing trip with plenty of bites close to the dock.
